Konstantin Ksirihi might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severino Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Konstantin Ksirihi ran back to his position shaking his head. 9 minutes into the match, FUSÂO NORTE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Régis Paiva came free, but Severino Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scarlet Metal FC were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after FUSÂO NORTE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Konstantin Ksirihi took the corner. After taking down the ball on Scarlet Metal FC's corner Régis Paiva fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severino Monteiro quite easily take care of the ball. The supporters of Scarlet Metal FC booed when FUSÂO NORTE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Bastos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Régis Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Gustavo Meira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FUSÂO NORTE FC and the Scarlet Metal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Scarlet Metal FC's Dráuzio Rezende was substituted for Stoil Belobradov. After a rather tough play, FUSÂO NORTE FC's Gustavo Meira got a free kick in the 18th minute. Severino Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Ksirihi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Severino Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Régis Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Severino Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Ksirihi in the 24th minute of play. Konstantin Ksirihi scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severino Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Régis Paiva in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Monteiro saved FUSÂO NORTE FC from getting behind. Severino Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konstantin Ksirihi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Régis Paiva during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Scarlet Metal FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Paiva. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Régis Paiva was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Régis Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Scarlet Metal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Severino Monteiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Régis Paiva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 53 minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match, Konstantin Ksirihi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severino Monteiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute, Régis Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstantin Ksirihi in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severino Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernani Bastos's late challenge caught a Scarlet Metal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstantin Ksirihi in the 73rd minute of play forced FUSÂO NORTE FC's goalkeeper Severino Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scarlet Metal FC's Régis Paiva got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Severino Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konstantin Ksirihi in the 79th minute of play. FUSÂO NORTE FC's Severino Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Ksirihi in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to FUSÂO NORTE FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Oséias Esteves hit a great ball. Régis Paiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Severino Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Konstantin Ksirihi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
