Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gilson de Mendonça kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Nazaro booed when Xodó da Vovó A.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augusto Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gilson de Mendonça's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilmar Pirani was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Carlinhos de Andrade's late challenge caught a Nazaro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Carlinhos de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the match, Nazaro's Gilson de Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilmar Pirani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 22 minutes into the game, Gilson de Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nazaro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xodó da Vovó A.C. the free kick. Gilmar Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson de Mendonça in the 25th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Zézinho Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zézinho Urbano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Delfim Vander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Nazaro getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Wanderson Fantini hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Xodó da Vovó A.C. got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Saldanha. After a rather tough play, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Carlinhos de Andrade got a free kick in the 38th minute. Delfim Vander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Pirani having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Delfim Vander cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gilmar Pirani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gilson de Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

58 minutes into the match, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s goalkeeper Gilmar Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilson de Mendonça. Carlinhos de Andrade hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Nazaro's goal looked a bit too open when Everton Ribeiro came free, but Robinho Rodrigues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute Gilson de Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gilson de Mendonça came free, but Gilmar Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Vander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joaquim Saldanha in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robinho Rodrigues saved Nazaro from getting behind. Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s Joaquim Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Robinho Rodrigues took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilson de Mendonça in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilmar Pirani prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aigyptos Fourakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilmar Pirani having to interfere. A collision led to Xodó da Vovó A.C. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Vágner Campidelis hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the match, Xodó da Vovó A.C.'s goalkeeper Gilmar Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gilson de Mendonça.
