Mineiros Esporte Clube's Mazinho Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Ferraz in the 3rd minute of play. In the 8th minute of the match Talento Futebol clube got a corner. Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gualter Proença ran over to the corner to take the kick. 11 minutes into the game, Lu Yuan Yin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mazinho Arósio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ezequiel Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mineiros Esporte Clube's protests and gave Ezequiel Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Mineiros Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ezequiel Valadares hit a great ball. Lu Yuan Yin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mazinho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lu Yuan Yin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Almir Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Michel van der Bij tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Talento Futebol clube's Michel van der Bij got control of the ball when Abelardo Velasco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Lu Yuan Yin came free, but Mazinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcin Najman to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lu Yuan Yin got free with Mazinho Arósio in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mazinho Arósio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mazinho Arósio made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Marcin Najman sent off a good shot on target. Mazinho Arósio came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Talento Futebol clube's Marcin Najman. But to his dismay, Marcin Najman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 64 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Marcin Najman came free, but Mazinho Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Ismael Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mazinho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Lu Yuan Yin took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Mazinho Arósio to make any attempt to save it. Mazinho Arósio was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Lu Yuan Yin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lu Yuan Yin really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Mazinho Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fraco Zago got free with Mazinho Arósio in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the game, Thomás Araújo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mineiros Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talento Futebol clube the free kick. The supporters of Talento Futebol clube booed when Mineiros Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomás Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mazinho Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Mazinho Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Pernambucano. João Pedro Fernandes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Mineiros Esporte Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Talento Futebol clube:s goal. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Talento Futebol clube's Gualter Proença got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Mazinho Arósio.
