After a rather tough play, Joviania's Kauã de Amaral got a free kick in the 6th minute. A collision led to Joviania getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. David Andrade hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the match, Yan Netto notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Joviania's Gonçalo Valle. Gonçalo Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Vianna in the 14th minute of play forced Joviania's goalkeeper Gonçalo Valle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Nuno Pontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonçalo Valle was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 23rd minute, Agostinho Vianna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonçalo Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baltazar Paiva made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Nordestão Futebol Clube's zone, Kauã de Amaral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yuri Vinhas came out of the goal and Kauã de Amaral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yuri Vinhas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltazar Paiva's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Romeu Netto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Yuri Vinhas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nordestão Futebol Clube's Duda Trevisan got a free kick in the 57th minute. Gonçalo Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Agostinho Vianna in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Delfim de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonçalo Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno Pontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Joviania's Gonçalo Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Joviania from getting a goal against them.
