Bebeto Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan da Mata, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Ernesto Coelho fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haridades F.C's protests and gave Ernesto Coelho a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Haridades F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Coelho. In the 26th match minute, Borralho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerson Sarmento got free with Erik Netto in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32nd minute, Giovanni Corrêa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Erik Netto. The goal made the score 2-0. Giovanni Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Netto having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Giovanni Corrêa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haridades F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giovanni Corrêa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeu Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Netto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giovanni Corrêa in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Netto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juan da Mata stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Haridades F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldinho Xavier to maneuver through the defense. Erik Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giovanni Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute Giovanni Corrêa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erik Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Haridades F.C's zone, Juan da Mata stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bebeto Cardoso came out of the goal and Juan da Mata tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Giovanni Corrêa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Haridades F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the match had been going on for 72 minutes Romeu Sanches shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Erik Netto when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. After 72 played minutes Borralho got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Trancoso. Juan da Mata took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bebeto Cardoso. Bebeto Cardoso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. A collision led to Borralho getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Anderson Meireles hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute Juan da Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bebeto Cardoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Haridades F.C players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
