Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Murillo Linares started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. César Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Marcus Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. César Queiroz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcus Rodrigues having to make a save. 12 minutes into the match, João Adolfo Cosme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcus Rodrigues, 1-0. In the 18thth minute of the game João Adolfo Cosme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brewers's Marcus Rodrigues was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When João Adolfo Cosme, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 18 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcus Rodrigues was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio de Almeida in the 25th minute of play forced Grêmio's goalkeeper Romelio Ibaute to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the game, Yuri de Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Marcus Rodrigues was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 32nd minute, César Queiroz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Cosme in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcus Rodrigues saved Brewers from getting behind. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Brewers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Washington Mota was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Edson Rosado managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 39th minute João Adolfo Cosme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Yuri de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Adolfo Cosme made a kick off. João Adolfo Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Rodrigues having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, João Adolfo Cosme put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Marcus Rodrigues. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Didi das Neves during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 58 played minutes Brewers got a freekick which was hit by Didi das Neves. Marcus Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Queiroz in the 61st minute of play. If João Adolfo Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yuri de Castro in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Rodrigues prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Grêmio's João Adolfo Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Adolfo Cosme got in the 68th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Marcus Rodrigues handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. 70 minutes into the match, Yuri de Castro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Brewers's Marcus Rodrigues. Marcus Rodrigues was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. César Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Marcus Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio's Yuri de Castro. But to his dismay, Yuri de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. If João Adolfo Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcus Rodrigues came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio's Yuri de Castro. But to his dismay, Yuri de Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. César Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Marcus Rodrigues didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio. Marcus Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yuri de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
