In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Firminoos SC's goalkeeper Alexsandro Romero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pecém's Luiz Guilherme Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Renato Negri in the 29th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Renato Negri was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Firminoos SC's Paulo Renato Negri made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luiz Guilherme Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Renato Negri in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Guilherme Duarte prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato Negri cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Luiz Guilherme Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Noel Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute.
