The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Jägermeister FC's Samuel Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edvaldo Bastos scored 1-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Egídio Ortiz in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the match, Jägermeister FC's goalkeeper Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edvaldo Bastos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Vides in the 31st minute of play forced Sangue nos Zóio's goalkeeper Clemente Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sangue nos Zóio's Alfredo de Brito got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 38th match minute, Jägermeister FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo de Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Edvaldo Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Jeremias Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Jägermeister FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Luizão França hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egídio Ortiz to make the kick off. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egídio Ortiz in the 51st minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Hermínio Cavalcante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sangue nos Zóio. Rubens Borges made in the 65th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Sangue nos Zóio's Caco Lago. In the 73rd minute, Angelo de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egídio Ortiz hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Egídio Ortiz fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Edvaldo Bastos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clemente Esteves was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Samuel Esteves capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Samuel Esteves really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Cristóvão França kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egídio Ortiz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Baba Bāba-Siltais saved Jägermeister FC from getting behind. Angelo de Carvalho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Hermínio Cavalcante kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
