Raí de Sousa's late challenge caught a Gressa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raí de Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. After 3 played minutes Tiki Tiki Uberaba got a freekick which was hit by Raí de Sousa. Leonardo Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zula Siekierski went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Gressa FC's Zeca Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Brasil in the 13th minute of play. Andrés Moro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Leonardo Seco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Tiki Tiki Uberaba booed when Gressa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gonzalo Carrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 25th minute of the match David Sanches shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeca Pitta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andrés Moro in the 26thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Leonardo Seco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Leonardo Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Gressa FC's Andrés Moro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dênis Cerezo struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Leonardo Seco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gressa FC. Dênis Cerezo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Seco having to interfere. After 37 played minutes, Tiki Tiki Uberaba's David Sanches shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zeca Pitta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tiki Tiki Uberaba reached it. 39 minutes into the match, Zula Siekierski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Leonardo Seco, 2-0. Zula Siekierski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Seco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tiki Tiki Uberaba's zone, Andrés Moro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Seco came out of the goal and Andrés Moro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Aníbal Brasil made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tiki Tiki Uberaba booed when Gressa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dadá de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Tiki Tiki Uberaba getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. David Sanches hit a great ball. After 57th play minutes Andrés Moro shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Leonardo Seco and just under the crossbar into goal. Rodrigo Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Tiki Tiki Uberaba's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Cerezo came free, but Leonardo Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andrés Moro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Seco having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tiki Tiki Uberaba's zone, Zula Siekierski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonardo Seco came out of the goal and Zula Siekierski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Tiki Tiki Uberaba's goal looked a bit too open when Zula Siekierski came free, but Leonardo Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Andrés Moro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Seco. Tiki Tiki Uberaba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrés Moro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Tiki Tiki Uberaba's Leonardo Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dênis Cerezo in the 85th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrés Moro in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Tiki Tiki Uberaba getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. David Sanches hit a great ball. Andrés Moro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Seco having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Dênis Cerezo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Gressa FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
