After 3 minutes, Rony Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MARINOS F. C. and the UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 4 played minutes, UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's Lucas Matorin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clóvis Mota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giovani Peres in the 6th minute of play forced MARINOS F. C.'s goalkeeper Clóvis Mota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Falcão Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to MARINOS F. C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Falcão Coelho hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Giovani Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clóvis Mota was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 14 minutes MARINOS F. C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucas Matorin who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Lucas Matorin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Clóvis Mota quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 18th minute Danilo Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's Danilo Ortiz in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MARINOS F. Danilo Ortiz hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Danilo Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clóvis Mota. MARINOS F. C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danilo Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 43 minutes in the game, Laércio Massa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Caio de Lara having to interfere. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Danilo Ortiz sped through MARINOS F. C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clóvis Mota. The MARINOS F. C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Danilo Ortiz made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's Danilo Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clóvis Mota made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Clóvis Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MARINOS F. C.'s Joel Teixeira got a free kick in the 62nd minute. MARINOS F. C.'s Clóvis Mota proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save MARINOS F. C. from getting a goal against them. After 78 played minutes MARINOS F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Joel Teixeira. In the 81st minute Danilo Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Mota saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clóvis Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albertinho Paraíba in the 87th minute of play forced UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C's goalkeeper Caio de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over UNIÃO BOA VISTA F.C could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than MARINOS F. C. throughout the match.
