José Vítor Mazza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeca Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Cláudio Porto struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Augusto Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachoeira Paulista F.c. After a rather tough play, Defensores F.C.'s Fellipe Marquez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, José Pedro de Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Augusto Lara. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeca Queiroz was the one to do the kick off. Germano Camargo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. José Pedro de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edgar de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Mazza having to make a save. A collision led to Cachoeira Paulista F.c getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Marcelo Lomba hit a great ball. In the 79th minute, José Pedro de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cachoeira Paulista F.c fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Edgar de Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot. Defensores F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Edgar de Salles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Vítor Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 87 played minutes Defensores F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zeca Queiroz. After 91 minutes of play Defensores F.C.'s Zeca Queiroz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Defensores F.C. getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zeca Queiroz hit a great ball. Edgar de Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar de Salles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgar de Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Cachoeira Paulista F.c left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Defensores F.C..
