When Cauã Vidal came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the A.D.Maragatos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Vidal couldn't finish the play. Gualter Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mário do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cesinha Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cesinha Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mário do Vale having to interfere. After some careless play in the A.D.Maragatos defense, Cesinha Esteves kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mário do Vale. The A.D.Maragatos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mário do Vale should have stopped the shot. In the 19th minute, Ezequiel Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã Vidal got free with Artur Paraense in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the game, Cedrolina SC's Cesinha Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mário do Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Goiano in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Dino Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mário do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cauã Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kaká Madureira charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaká Madureira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kaká Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Dino Goiano scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário do Vale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 38 played minutes A.D.Maragatos got a freekick which was hit by Kaká Madureira. In the 39thth minute of the game Dino Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Cauã Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.Maragatos's supporters rose to their feet, but Cauã Vidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesinha Esteves to make the kick off. Cesinha Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A.D.Maragatos's Cauan da Silva quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Coutinho, made in the 57th minute of the game. The supporters of A.D.Maragatos booed when Cedrolina SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mário do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dino Goiano was extremely unlucky when he, in the 74th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Waldir Cavalcante hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cedrolina SC booed when A.D.Maragatos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Reis didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cesinha Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Esteves took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mário do Vale. Mário do Vale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a little luck, A.D.Maragatos's Mário do Vale got control of the ball when Cesinha Esteves tried to sneak it across the goal line. The A.D.Maragatos fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cedrolina SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
