An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Trancoso in the 8th minute of play forced Acotea Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Laerte Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Acotea Futebol Clube's Laerte Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Trancoso in the 10th minute of play. Edson Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Rafael Sampaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acotea Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafael Sampaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laerte Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edson Trancoso went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Trancoso in the 23rd minute of play forced Acotea Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Laerte Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dagoberto Pena struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Laerte Brito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dinamo Brasil. If Beremundo Pantoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chiquinho Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edson Trancoso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte Brito was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Trancoso in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laerte Brito prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th match minute, Acotea Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Catarinense to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute Edson Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laerte Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beremundo Pantoja blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Laerte Brito having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chiquinho Vander got free with Albert Omescu in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, Chiquinho Vander fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 44 minutes of play, Dinamo Brasil's Beremundo Pantoja made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Laerte Brito was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Laerte Brito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. In the 70th minute, Caco Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laerte Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilmar Mattos got free with Laerte Brito in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chiquinho Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Acotea Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Guerra came free, but Laerte Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cássio Barral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Acotea Futebol Clube:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Dinamo Brasil:s goal. The goalkeeper, Laerte Brito, was totally fooled by Dinamo Brasil's Acácio Fernandez, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 87th minute, Giovani de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Dinamo Brasil could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Acotea Futebol Clube throughout the match.
