Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eriberto Sergipano started the match with the kick off. Pedrão Souza hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. 3 minutes into the game, Remo Dantas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Percival Prestes. Remo Dantas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 9th minute Emerson Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Durval Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Souza in the 11th minute of play forced Aratuipe's goalkeeper Válter Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Emerson Trevisan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Válter Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ioan Andronache in the 26th minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emerson Trevisan scored 2-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Válter Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Trevisan in the 32nd minute of play. With a little luck, REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes got control of the ball when Paşa Boll tried to sneak it across the goal line. 36 minutes into the game, Remo Dantas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Percival Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paşa Boll could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Percival Prestes made a huge save. Válter Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrão Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Remo Dantas was the one to do the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Remo Dantas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but REAL VASCO RIO's Percival Prestes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paşa Boll in the 53rd minute of play forced REAL VASCO RIO's goalkeeper Percival Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristóvão Melo in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Aratuipe getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ioan Andronache hit a great ball. The supporters of REAL VASCO RIO booed when Aratuipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witalis Zyskowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Remo Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aratuipe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 70 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Boll came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Aratuipe defense, Eriberto Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Válter Cunha. The Aratuipe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Válter Cunha should have stopped the shot. When Durvalino Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored REAL VASCO RIO's protests and gave Durvalino Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. Durvalino Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, REAL VASCO RIO's goal looked a bit too open when Paşa Boll came free, but Percival Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Trevisan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Remo Dantas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Percival Prestes. REAL VASCO RIO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remo Dantas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Percival Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Dantas in the 90th minute of the match. Aratuipe's Válter Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Aratuipe from getting a goal against them. Percival Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paşa Boll, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Aratuipe were the better team. Aratuipe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
