Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Valladares kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes of play, Estrela Vermelha's Dalmo Peres made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! 9 minutes into the match, Estrela Vermelha's Tomé Fantini sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vicente Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enrique Antunes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Valladares in the 11th minute of the match. Estrela Vermelha's Enrique Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Vermelha from getting a goal against them. After 18 minutes of play, Calesso FC's Amílton Tavares made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Enrique Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vicente Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldão Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The goalkeeper, Enrique Antunes, was totally fooled by Calesso FC's Mauro Ferreira, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Tomé Fantini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Pedro Luiz Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Dalmo Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tomé Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 minutes of play, Estrela Vermelha's Dalmo Peres made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vicente Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomé Fantini made a kick off. An unexpected shot in the 51st minute by Tomé Fantini got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Dalmo Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Vermelha's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalmo Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomé Fantini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Vicente Soares made a huge save. The corner led to Estrela Vermelha's Ronaldão Oliveira getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tomé Fantini in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Vicente Soares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Dalmo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Soares having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Tomé Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrela Vermelha's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomé Fantini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vicente Soares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dalmo Peres was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 74th minute. Estrela Vermelha's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Calesso FC's Vicente Soares got control of the ball when Tomé Fantini tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomé Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Soares having to interfere. Estrela Vermelha's Pedro Luiz Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tomé Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Vicente Soares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, Tomé Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estrela Vermelha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Tomé Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vicente Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 89th minute, Vitinho Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomé Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Soares having to interfere. Vicente Soares came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrela Vermelha's Dalmo Peres. But to his dismay, Dalmo Peres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Estrela Vermelha played a much better game than Calesso FC and deserved their victory. The Calesso FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
