To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Cosmos FC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Augusto Loureiro. Cosmos FC's Rodrigo Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Cosmos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 32nd minute of the match Zé Augusto Loureiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodrigo Guerra showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilian de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Rodrigo Guerra made a huge save. José Augusto Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kaká Porto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cosmos FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
