After 13 minutes of play, Tube Filmes's Júlio Moraes made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dedé Ribeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Manfredo Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Brodel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Júlio Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tube Filmes's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dedé Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio Moraes might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dedé Ribeiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Júlio Moraes ran back to his position shaking his head. Manfredo Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anderson Salles in the 29th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Percival Souto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Tube Filmes's goal looked a bit too open when Mazinho Jacinto came free, but Manfredo Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Brodel in the 36th minute of the match. The supporters of Fluviopolis booed when Tube Filmes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manfredo Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tube Filmes's Manfredo Toscano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umberto Gerber in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Umberto Gerber cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Manfredo Toscano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 46th minute, Mazinho Jacinto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fluviopolis fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After the first half Fluviopolis were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After taking down the ball on Fluviopolis's corner Mazinho Jacinto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Manfredo Toscano quite easily take care of the ball. Manfredo Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from César de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Wilton Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Manfredo Toscano made a huge save. Manfredo Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Gerber in the 78th minute of play. Manfredo Toscano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Umberto Gerber in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Anderson Salles reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Manfredo Toscano. The goal made the score 1-6. Manfredo Toscano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Manfredo Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Gerber went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-8 was the resulting score. Manfredo Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over Fluviopolis could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tube Filmes throughout the match.
