Marco Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Evaristo Arósio made a huge save. Evaristo Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Botelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute of the match Araborladit got a corner. MARINUS MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Agnaldo Aparecido ran over to the corner to take the kick. Agnaldo Aparecido made a great header on Araborladit's corner, it was just that MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio managed to reach the ball for a save. Evaristo Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Botelho, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Marco Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Evaristo Arósio made a huge save. The supporters of Araborladit booed when MARINUS MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdo Guimarães didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Agnaldo Aparecido fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araborladit's protests and gave Agnaldo Aparecido a yellow card for diving instead. After 28 played minutes Araborladit got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Aparecido. Marco Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Evaristo Arósio made a huge save. After 36 minutes of play, Araborladit's Marco Lara made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Evaristo Arósio was left in no man's land by his defense there! 3-0 became the score in the 42nd minute when Rogério Godoi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Douglas Botelho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Evaristo Arósio. The goal made the score 4-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Douglas Botelho was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Carlos Gerber during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. João Carlos Gerber hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute Douglas Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Douglas Botelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 70th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Evaristo Arósio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Douglas Botelho ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Godoi in the 71st minute of play forced MARINUS MZC's goalkeeper Evaristo Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Perivaldo Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MARINUS MZC's protests and gave Perivaldo Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. Perivaldo Moreira kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Botelho in the 82nd minute of play. Araborladit's João Carlos Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Lara in the 84th minute of play. Evaristo Arósio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Douglas Botelho went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. MARINUS MZC's Evaristo Arósio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogério Godoi in the 90th minute of play. Evaristo Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Araborladit's Didi Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Araborladit from getting a goal against them. There was no doubt that Araborladit were the better team. Araborladit's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
