Magula Fc's Richard Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Marquez in the 11th minute of play. Patrick Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Meireles in the 12th minute of play. Bebeto do Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute of the match Elias Freitas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Richard Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 17 minutes into the match, ATlético C.M.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Meireles came free, but Patrick Breckenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Magula Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Marquez came free, but Richard Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Meireles in the 22nd minute of play forced ATlético C.M.'s goalkeeper Patrick Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Marquez might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Richard Costa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Marquez ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Valdomiro Recife scored 3-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valdomiro Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Richard Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdomiro Recife fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Costa having to interfere. Richard Costa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valdomiro Recife scored 5-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Costa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in ATlético C.M.'s zone, Gernando Teles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Gernando Teles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frank Marquez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
