In the 2nd match minute, Sustino AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vítor Guedes to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th match minute, Jacampari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Falcão to maneuver through the defense. When Erivaldo Miranda fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacampari EC's protests and gave Erivaldo Miranda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Erivaldo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Meirelles in the 8th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Meirelles in the 12th minute of play forced Jacampari EC's goalkeeper Leandro Marques to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fernando Munhoz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Leandro Marques made a huge save. João Augusto Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hudson Aparecido, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Jacampari EC's Filipe Palmeira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Filipe Palmeira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Jacampari EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Filipe Palmeira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 22nd match minute, Jacampari EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filipe Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. Vítor Guedes managed to, on his own, get straight through Jacampari EC's defense and in the 23rd minute placed the ball to the left of Leandro Marques. 1-0. In the 27thth minute of the game Rômulo de Sena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacampari EC's Leandro Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Sustino AD getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Osvaldo Lima hit a great ball. Jacampari EC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Rômulo de Sena scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Marques, making the score, 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Francisco Moreno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Francisco Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Osvaldo Lima hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Augusto Lira having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Francisco Moreno got free with João Augusto Lira in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Erivaldo Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacampari EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erivaldo Miranda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Augusto Lira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Augusto Lira made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when João Francisco Moreno sent off a good shot on target. In the 78th minute Luís Fernando Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leandro Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Francisco Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erivaldo Miranda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, João Francisco Moreno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Augusto Lira. The goal made the score 3-1. João Francisco Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, Nelson do Vale notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Sustino AD's João Augusto Lira. João Augusto Lira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
