Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sidney de Salles kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leigh Bayne during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Club Athletico Paranaense getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Leigh Bayne hit a great ball. João Augusto Lira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidney de Salles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14thth minute of the game Sidney de Salles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sustino AD's João Augusto Lira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robustiano Seme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidney de Salles kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Augusto Lira. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Sustino AD's João Augusto Lira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Sustino AD from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Sidney de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Augusto do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney de Salles in the 35th minute of the match. João Augusto Lira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney de Salles in the 37th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sustino AD's zone, Augusto do Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Augusto Lira came out of the goal and Augusto do Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Maximo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Sílvio Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vítor Guedes kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 49 minutes into the match, Sidney de Salles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Augusto Lira, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo de Sena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sustino AD's Osvaldo Lima got a free kick in the 56th minute. Sílvio Lopez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jaime Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. João Augusto Lira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Augusto Lira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidney de Salles in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Augusto do Vale made a precise shot to the right of João Augusto Lira. Sustino AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sustino AD's João Augusto Lira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney de Salles in the 69th minute of play. If Augusto do Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Augusto Lira came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Athletico Paranaense's Leigh Bayne. But to his dismay, Leigh Bayne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. If Sidney de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Maximo Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sidnei Cerezo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Athletico Paranaense's protests and gave Sidnei Cerezo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th match minute, Club Athletico Paranaense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei Cerezo to maneuver through the defense. When Jaime Furtado fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Athletico Paranaense's protests and gave Jaime Furtado a yellow card for diving instead. Jaime Furtado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Maximo Pirmin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Club Athletico Paranaense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
