Juvenal da Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. In the 8th minute Burak Özdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Kang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luiz Tasso during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Toni Kroos MGZ™ booed when Sandinense ADF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luiz Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Burak Özdoğan came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Sandinense ADF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Burak Özdoğan couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Dé Marques got a free kick in the 15th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Burak Özdoğan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandinense ADF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Toni Kroos MGZ™ the free kick. In the 21st match minute, Sandinense ADF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Burak Özdoğan to maneuver through the defense. In the 27thth minute of the game Raimundo Guimarães who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toni Kroos MGZ™'s Ye Kang Zhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match Sandinense ADF got a corner. Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimundo Guimarães ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Sandinense ADF's Juvenal da Rocha getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Toni Kroos MGZ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal da Rocha came free, but Ye Kang Zhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Juvenal da Rocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Kang Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ye Kang Zhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Burak Özdoğan went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ye Kang Zhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Guimarães in the 36th minute of play. Ye Kang Zhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Orlando Félix kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hu Yao Nan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Burak Özdoğan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ye Kang Zhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Diego Belém had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Sandinense ADF's Juvenal da Rocha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ye Kang Zhan. Ye Kang Zhan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Sandinense ADF's Breno Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hu Yao Nan in the 68th minute of play. Breno Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hu Yao Nan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Lenzi in the 71st minute of play forced Sandinense ADF's goalkeeper Breno Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute of the match, Raimundo Guimarães tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ye Kang Zhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sandinense ADF were awarded a corner in the 80th minute after Toni Kroos MGZ™'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Guimarães took the corner.
