Carona's Björn Åkesson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Carona from getting a goal against them. Björn Åkesson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Long John went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Long John could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Björn Åkesson made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Long John in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Björn Åkesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Juarês Sanches hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Long John made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 24thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Björn Åkesson would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 27 minutes into the match, Carona's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson Toledo came free, but Björn Åkesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Björn Åkesson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Long John in the 28th minute. Carona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiliam Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Wiliam Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Björn Åkesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Power Guido FC. After a defensive mix-up in The Power Guido FC's zone, Marco Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Soeiro came out of the goal and Marco Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Long John was the one to do the kick off. Björn Åkesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Long John in the 51st minute of play. If Çakabey Eroğul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Björn Åkesson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wiliam Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, Qian Feng Yuan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Enéas Soeiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Power Guido FC's Oséias Gonçalves was substituted for Long John.
