The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Levente Majer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张剑德 in the 10th minute of the match. Ismael Tepedino's late challenge caught a Guub United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Tepedino helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, BENACHIOS F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mário Araújo in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zé Carlos Luz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 16 minutes into the match, BENACHIOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wágner Zonta came free, but Zé Carlos Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Thor Grøtting cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Levente Majer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the game, Mário Araújo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Zé Carlos Luz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mário Araújo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Zé Carlos Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Wágner Zonta notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of BENACHIOS F.C's Zé Carlos Luz. Zé Carlos Luz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Levente Majer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thor Grøtting went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Mário Araújo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Zé Carlos Luz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mário Araújos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Zé Carlos Luz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Guub United's Dedé da Mata got a free kick in the 38th minute. Levente Majer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 张剑德, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Levente Majer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 张剑德 in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Sérgio Velloso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Carlos Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Zé Carlos Luz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Araújo in the 57th minute of play. Thor Grøtting received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. After 70 minutes of play, BENACHIOS F.C's Thor Grøtting made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Levente Majer was left in no man's land by his defense there! BENACHIOS F.C's Valdo Negri was substituted for Jânio Borges. 74 minutes into the match, Guub United's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Negri came free, but Levente Majer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute Mário Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Carlos Luz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Carlos Eduardo Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zé Carlos Luz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mário Araújo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. With a little luck, Guub United's Levente Majer got control of the ball when Valdo Negri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guub United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though BENACHIOS F.C had controlled the match.
