When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Michel Lukaku took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Edinho Santana to make any attempt to save it. Caetano Van Dijck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Paulo da Rocha in the 16th minute of play forced Real Soccer FC's goalkeeper Renato Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute Magoo BR were awarded a corner. Reynaldo da Silveira went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Magoo BR's corner José Paulo da Rocha fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Renato Braga quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Real Soccer FC's Michel Lukaku got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Real Soccer FC's goal looked a bit too open when 秦希笑 came free, but Renato Braga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Michel Lukaku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Santana was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. When José Paulo da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Magoo BR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo da Rocha couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Michel Lukaku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edinho Santana was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, Magoo BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Massa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, José Paulo da Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magoo BR's supporters rose to their feet, but José Paulo da Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renato Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd match minute, Real Soccer FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Löfdahl to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

A sloppy throw-in by Zé Pedro Massa in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Real Soccer FC's Kaká Botelho. Renato Braga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reynaldo da Silveira in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Soccer FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reynaldo da Silveira was slow to take the kick. During this time Magoo BR's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Magoo BR getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zé Pedro Massa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Lukaku in the 62nd minute of play forced Magoo BR's goalkeeper Edinho Santana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renato Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo da Silveira in the 64th minute of the match. Edinho Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Lukaku in the 70th minute of play. Szczepan Podolski hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Michel Lukaku was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Soccer FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Magoo BR the free kick. In the 75th minute of the match, José Paulo da Rocha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Renato Braga was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th match minute, Magoo BR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Pedro Massa to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Lukaku in the 79th minute of play. Michel Lukaku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Edinho Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo da Silveira struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Renato Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Magoo BR. The supporters of Magoo BR booed when Real Soccer FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caetano Van Dijck hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Real Soccer FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
