Lovat SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iuri Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute Valdemar de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Peres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lovat SS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 14th minute. Penalty! Waut De Mare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benjamim da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waut De Mare kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Dinamo Bucarest FC's keeper Benjamim da Cunha was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With his leg Benjamim da Cunha managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Lovat SS's Waut De Mare fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luís Gustavo Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Túlio Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdemar de Castro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Dinamo Bucarest FC's goalkeeper Benjamim da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waut De Mare. After having played for 46 minutes, Gil Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lovat SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gil Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valdemar de Castro made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Lovat SS's zone, Valdemar de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Túlio Peres came out of the goal and Valdemar de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waut De Mare in the 53rd minute of play forced Dinamo Bucarest FC's goalkeeper Benjamim da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Luís Gustavo Linares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Narciso Zalon in the 65th minute really tested Túlio Peres's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Valdemar de Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Bucarest FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdemar de Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Túlio Peres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 80 minutes into the match, Lovat SS's goalkeeper Túlio Peres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdemar de Castro. Waut De Mare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Benjamim da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 minutes of play, Dinamo Bucarest FC's Iuri Jacinto made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Túlio Peres was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute Waut De Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamim da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Lovat SS's Waut De Mare in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dinamo Bucarest FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Lovat SS manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Dinamo Bucarest FC to win.
