Cléber Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Santa María, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Lorenzo Santa María sped through PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cléber Lopes. Cléber Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Arósio in the 7th minute of the match. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Cléber Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ from getting a goal against them. After 11 played minutes PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ got a freekick which was hit by Álvaro de Toledo. Cléber Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Cléber Lopes was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cauan Favoretto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. 24 minutes into the game, Cauan Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cléber Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cléber Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nico Bueno in the 28th minute of play. Cléber Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Wágner Toledo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiago Futebol Clube the free kick. Wágner Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Cléber Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Santa María went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Claudinei Sá got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Cauan Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Cléber Lopes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A hard shot 42 in the game by Lorenzo Santa María from a close distance when the talented Cléber Lopes managed to make a qualified save. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's players were relieved. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wágner Toledo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cléber Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cauan Favoretto in the 50th minute of play. 51 minutes into the game, Santiago Futebol Clube's Nico Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cléber Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Nico Bueno took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléber Lopes. Cléber Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Mendonça in the 59th minute of play forced Santiago Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Anton Hurezeanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cauan Favoretto took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cléber Lopes. Cléber Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Santiago Futebol Clube's Cauan Favoretto got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Santiago Futebol Clube made a substitution. Francisco Zanette replaced Nico Bueno. Santiago Futebol Clube's Arlindo Ramos was substituted for Carlos Santana. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Douglas Silva was substituted for Wágner Toledo. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's Germano Sena was substituted for Manuel Mendonça. After some careless play in the PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ defense, Lorenzo Santa María kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cléber Lopes. The PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cléber Lopes should have stopped the shot. Santiago Futebol Clube's Quintin Scheiber was substituted for Enrique Arósio. In the 82nd minute, Douglas Silva got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Santiago Futebol Clube fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Santiago Futebol Clube's Lorenzo Santa María looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 13-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 90th minute, Lorenzo Santa María made a precise shot to the right of Cléber Lopes. PALMEIRAS CE - DMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 14-0. In the 93rd minute Lorenzo Santa María shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cléber Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Santiago Futebol Clube players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
