A well-hit corner resulted in Gigi Griguță heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. S.E.R. Caxias do Sul's Mario Pochekanski was substituted for Benedykt Pankiewicz. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Pochekanski to make the kick off. Krisztián Véber showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ made a substitution. Oier Lopez de Toro replaced Pedro Freitas. Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Diego Souza was substituted for Silas de Brito. A sloppy throw-in by Gláuber Tande in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Cruzmaltinos FC - DMZ's Gigi Griguță.
