An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Ponce in the 5th minute of play forced Santo F.C's goalkeeper Freddy Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falckner FC's Rolando Leguizamón proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Falckner FC from getting a goal against them. In the 13th match minute, Santo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Errando to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Aluísio Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Markel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddy Markel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Falckner FC's Cosme Ponce. But to his dismay, Cosme Ponce quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Freddy Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aluísio Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Freddy Markel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Ponce in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Falckner FC booed when Santo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Errando didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aluísio Gaspar in the 33rd minute of play forced Santo F.C's goalkeeper Freddy Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santo F.C's Freddy Markel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aluísio Gaspar in the 35th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Santo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aluísio Gaspar came free, but Freddy Markel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Santo F.C's Pastor Errando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Leguizamón made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Pastor Errando kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pastor Errando to make the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, Falckner FC's Cosme Ponce made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Freddy Markel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 59 minutes into the match, Ryszard Marchlewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddy Markel, 1-3. If Benedicto Haritz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Everardo Loi hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Maximino Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximino Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th match minute, Santo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Martino to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Santo F.C's Benedicto Haritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Leguizamón narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pastor Errando struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Rolando Leguizamón didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santo F.C. 83 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Eufrasio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santo F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Falckner FC the free kick. After 83 played minutes Santo F.C got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Eufrasio. Freddy Markel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Marchlewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Freddy Markel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Ponce in the 85th minute of the match. Rolando Leguizamón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Haritz in the 92nd minute of play. Aluísio Gaspar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Freddy Markel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 94th match minute, Santo F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clodoveo Eufrasio to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th match minute, Falckner FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosme Ponce to maneuver through the defense. Falckner FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
