The supporters of Volver a nacer f.c booed when Charly Dato FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Desiderio Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Volver a nacer f.c's Jonathan Cristofor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Barros Schelotto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th minute, Fulgencio Chaime got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rigoberto Lluc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Bernard went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Guillermo Barros Schelotto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Cristofor in the 36th minute of the match. Charly Dato FC's Guillermo Barros Schelotto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Cristofor in the 38th minute of play. Desiderio Bernard hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the game, Volver a nacer f.c's Jonathan Cristofor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Guillermo Barros Schelotto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Guillermo Barros Schelotto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulgencio Chaime in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Rigoberto Lluc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Bernard, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Fulgencio Chaime sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Barros Schelotto made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Fulgencio Chaime sent off a good shot on target. If Fulgencio Chaime had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rigoberto Lluc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Cordaro in the 66th minute of play. Charly Dato FC's Hector Demario got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Ireno in the 72nd minute of play forced Volver a nacer f.c's goalkeeper Rigoberto Lluc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Ireno took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Lluc. Rigoberto Lluc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Cristofor in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Barros Schelotto saved Charly Dato FC from getting behind. Desiderio Bernard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rigoberto Lluc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Barros Schelotto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathan Cristofor's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Volver a nacer f.c supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Volver a nacer f.c would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
