Camilo Salomon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guillermo Barros Schelotto having to interfere. When Hector Demario came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Charly Dato FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Demario couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Bernard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Camilo Salomon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the High Team and the Charly Dato FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Camilo Salomon kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ubaldo Ellande didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hector Demario went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 25 minutes, Teo Luke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charly Dato FC and the High Team players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Charly Dato FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teo Luke to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th minute, Aquilino Bernard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Burutzagi hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. If Aquilino Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aquilino Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Guillermo Barros Schelotto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aquilino Bernard came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the High Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aquilino Bernard couldn't finish the play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aquilino Bernard to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as High Team's Aquilino Bernard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillermo Barros Schelotto. That made the score 2-1 after 53 minutes of play. Desiderio Bernard hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jonatan Libertad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Guillermo Barros Schelotto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Aquilino Bernard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charly Dato FC's Guillermo Barros Schelotto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Charly Dato FC from getting a goal against them. High Team's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 played minutes High Team got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Bernard. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Cordaro in the 84th minute of play forced High Team's goalkeeper Ubaldo Ellande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Aquilino Bernard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Alberto Cordaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ubaldo Ellande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Demario in the 89th minute of the match. If Camilo Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Bernards short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Guillermo Barros Schelotto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 94 minutes into the game, Joel Ireno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charly Dato FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave High Team the free kick. In the 95th minute, Joel Ireno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
