Isaias Oinaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alejandro Tab having to make a save. In the 10th minute, Rafael Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Evaristo Carioca took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Alejandro Tab to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the match, Lagunilla's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Dimas came free, but Marcelino Quilino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lagunilla booed when quemero se nace was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Marko didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Lagunilla. Evaristo Carioca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alejandro Tab. 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Senon in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelino Quilino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 40 played minutes Lagunilla got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Esdras. Alejandro Tab made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Carioca in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Gabriel Dimas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Marcelino Quilino was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Basilio Osoitz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Isaias Oinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basilio Osoitz in the 54th minute of play forced Lagunilla's goalkeeper Marcelino Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcelino Quilino made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gabriel Dimas sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Senon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 60th playminute. If Rafael Senon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Quilino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Osoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the match, Lagunilla's goalkeeper Marcelino Quilino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Senon. When Erubiel Lordi fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lagunilla's protests and gave Erubiel Lordi a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Dimas in the 87th minute of play forced Lagunilla's goalkeeper Marcelino Quilino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lagunilla's Marcelino Quilino got control of the ball when Rafael Senon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 90 minutes, Ariel Oxarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lagunilla and the quemero se nace players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafael Senon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Marcelino Quilino made a huge save.
