Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chancaní AFC's Eriberto Naike started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes Chancaní AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Mel. In the 9th minute Eriberto Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Olando struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Osvaldo Merexildo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñalitos FC. 13 minutes into the match, Eriberto Naike dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aristides Peyo, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Santos got free with Aristides Peyo in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Chancaní AFC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Merexildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Chancaní AFC's Silvestre Tello slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aristides Peyo. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Osvaldo Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Afonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Piñalitos FC booed when Chancaní AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Bakar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Joaquin Resto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Osvaldo Merexildo skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chancaní AFC's zone, Patricio Afonso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Merexildo came out of the goal and Patricio Afonso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osvaldo Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Olando in the 34th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Piñalitos FC's Patricio Afonso made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldo Merexildo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Aureliano Olando put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Osvaldo Merexildo. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aureliano Olando was the one to do the kick off. Aureliano Olando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Osvaldo Merexildo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Jimeno Tiso hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. If Eduardo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Aristides Peyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Bakar in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Chancaní AFC's Silvestre Tello got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Eriberto Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piñalitos FC's Aristides Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Santos in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Aaron Oliveiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piñalitos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chancaní AFC the free kick. Aaron Oliveiro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Aureliano Olando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Osvaldo Merexildo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience was convinced that Ismael Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aristides Peyo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Aristides Peyo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Bakar in the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Aureliano Olando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piñalitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Olando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Chancaní AFC's Silvestre Tello got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 86th match minute, Piñalitos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquin Resto to maneuver through the defense. Aristides Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Olandos short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Osvaldo Merexildo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Piñalitos FC's Patricio Afonso got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Piñalitos FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
