Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Clemente Urbes in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Gaitan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Clemente Urbes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Gaitan was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 4th minute of the match Anjullan FC got a corner. La Armada Buscapina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Clemente Urbes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Clemente Urbes struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Ramiro Gaitan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anjullan FC. When Ildefonso Suero came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the La Armada Buscapina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Suero couldn't finish the play. When Romulo Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Anjullan FC fans jumped to their feet. Ramiro Gaitan stood somewhat misplaced when Amancio Brun came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 31 minute. Emiliano Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Urbes struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Clemente Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Romulo Vigil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amancio Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Urbes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Amancio Brun suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Primeiro during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Anjullan FC's Eustacio Mirande was substituted for Amancio Brun. A collision led to Anjullan FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Clemente Urbes hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Emiliano Tadzio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adrian Franco. Emiliano Tadzio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Anjullan FC's Clemente Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Goren kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Clemente Urbes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Ramiro Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramiro Gaitan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Urbes in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Eustacio Mirande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anjullan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustacio Mirande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Artemio Crescencio during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 88th match minute, La Armada Buscapina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. If Eustacio Mirande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ildefonso Suero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Franco having to interfere. There was no doubt that Anjullan FC were the better team. Anjullan FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
