In the 5thth minute of the game Ezequiel Ofelio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rincón's Inocencio Rivero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelino Gartzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braulio Haitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Inocencio Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Igor Patxi fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Embarcación AFC's protests and gave Igor Patxi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th minute, Igor Patxi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Rincón's goalkeeper Inocencio Rivero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Jaizki. Ezequiel Ofelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Inocencio Rivero having to make a save. After 19 played minutes Embarcación AFC got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Mikelats. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Jordy in the 22nd minute of play forced Embarcación AFC's goalkeeper Marcelino Gartzen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Ofelio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Rincón's Inocencio Rivero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Jaizki in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Ezequiel Ofelio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Inocencio Rivero. Igor Patxi hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Rincón's Fabian Jordy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcelino Gartzen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rincón reached it. If Braulio Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Ofelio made the kick off in the second half. Alfredo Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Embarcación AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Braulio Haitz came free, but Marcelino Gartzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Braulio Haitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Embarcación AFC's Marcelino Gartzen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braulio Haitz in the 60th minute of play. Rincón's Alfredo Herensuge got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arturo Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Inocencio Rivero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Herensuge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arturo Jaizki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Rivero having to interfere. Alfredo Herensuge's late challenge caught a Embarcación AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Herensuge helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Embarcación AFC booed when Rincón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Herensuge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelino Gartzen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Haitz in the 74th minute of the match. Inocencio Rivero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Jaizki, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Braulio Haitz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelino Gartzen, 1-1. In the 87th minute Ezequiel Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Rivero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Mikelats recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Embarcación AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rincón's performance. The match ended with a win for Rincón.
