The tension between the Charrua FC and the Altamira Futbol Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 8 played minutes Charrua FC got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Bizi. After 10 played minutes Altamira Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Bihar. Jaime Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 17th minute, Danilo Bihar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute of the match Leonides Nazario sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cecilio Jokin skillfully saved the ball. If Hector Bartoleme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Velasco scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cecilio Jokin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 44 in the game by Domingos Corderun from a close distance when the talented Paolo Sandaili managed to make a qualified save. Charrua FC's players were relieved.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Velasco to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Hector Bartoleme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altamira Futbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Charrua FC's Paolo Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Corderun in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute Hector Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paolo Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Corderun in the 69th minute of play forced Charrua FC's goalkeeper Paolo Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cecilio Jokin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Rius in the 88th minute of play forced Charrua FC's goalkeeper Paolo Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Chago in the 90th minute of play. Charrua FC's Paolo Sandaili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Rius in the 92nd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
