German Canor's late challenge caught a CyB Ramón Santamarina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. German Canor helped the player get up and apologised. After 32 played minutes Club Atletico Aldosivi got a freekick which was hit by German Canor. German Canor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jesus Garcia having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, German Canor notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of CyB Ramón Santamarina's Jesus Garcia. Jesus Garcia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abdel Haleem Ashraf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Gonzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Tajo was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Club Atletico Aldosivi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Feliciano Dayam hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atletico Aldosivi fans cheered their team off the field, for while CyB Ramón Santamarina had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
