Higinio Azibar scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isidoro Caton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ramone having to interfere. Iruya's David Tauro quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Agustin Cordeiro, made in the 13th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enrique Beltxe in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godfredo Ramone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Funebreros FC ARG booed when Iruya was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Beltxe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes of play, Funebreros FC ARG's Bonifacio Pes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Caton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Isidoro Caton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriele Verón in the 29th minute of the match. Gerardo Silban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godfredo Ramone having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Alan Aguilar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Isidoro Caton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alan Aguilar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Funebreros FC ARG's supporters rose to their feet, but Alan Aguilar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Caton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gabriele Verón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustin Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Isidoro Caton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isidoro Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Cordeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Beltxe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Isidoro Caton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Aguilar in the 52nd minute. Alan Aguilar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Gabriele Verón had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isidoro Caton. Iruya's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gabriele Verón was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, Iruya's goalkeeper Isidoro Caton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriele Verón. Teodoro Belmiro kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Enrique Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifacio Pes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Caton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Bonifacio Pes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Caton having to interfere. Bonifacio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 89 minutes of play, Funebreros FC ARG's Gabriele Verón made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isidoro Caton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute, Bonifacio Pes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isidoro Caton. The goal made the score 0-6.
