The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santos Shepherd during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Santos Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Godofredo Calabrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Matias Sindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Bajada's Santos Shepherd made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Iliana was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benicio Brun's late challenge caught a Saldaña's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Brun helped the player get up and apologised. Benicio Brun hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Matias Sindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Calabrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Saldaña got a freekick which was hit by Teo Piearres. After a defensive mix-up in Bajada's zone, Ignacio Diaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Sindo came out of the goal and Ignacio Diaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Cordarrels short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Matias Sindo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Saldaña's Godofredo Calabrano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Matias Sindo. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Baldomero Cordarrel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Sindo was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Baldomero Cordarrel to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ignacio Diaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Saldaña's supporters rose to their feet, but Ignacio Diaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Sindo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute, Raul Nahia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saldaña fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Dario Bero was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 63 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, one of Bajada:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bajada. In the 69th minute, Santo Pirro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Matias Sindo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Cordarrel went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Baldomero Cordarrel put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Matias Sindo.
