Placido Gelmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Flor in the 9th minute of play. Placido Gelmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Benet in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Dito Recife ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Gelmiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Jonas Cordareo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Placido Gelmiro was a little too slow when Leonardo Clis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Placido Gelmiro made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Benito Benet sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute of the match, Dito Recife tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Placido Gelmiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 34th minute, Benito Benet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Euskadi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Benito Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Placido Gelmiro made a huge save. 40 minutes into the match, Belloco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Matro came free, but Placido Gelmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Sampaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Heriberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Placido Gelmiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 84th minute, Leonardo Clis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Gelmiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Dito Recife took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Placido Gelmiro. Placido Gelmiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Flor in the 96th minute of play forced Belloco FC's goalkeeper Placido Gelmiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Euskadi FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
