Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Carolo Matteo took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to River Plate getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Willie Whitley hit a great ball. Marco Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Heriberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The River Plate fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when River Plate's Carolo Matteo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marco Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernan Heriberto in the 9th minute of play. Beruti FC's Esteve Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carolo Matteo in the 21st minute of play. River Plate's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roque Che in the 22nd minute. Willie Whitley made a great header on River Plate's corner, it was just that Beruti FC's Esteve Godoy managed to reach the ball for a save. Willie Whitley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Esteve Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Huly in the 26th minute of play forced Beruti FC's goalkeeper Esteve Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River Plate's Marco Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Abel in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Heriberto came free, but Marco Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Carolo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emilio Abel scored 1-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marco Rios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carolo Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Esteve Godoy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carolo Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. After 43 played minutes Beruti FC got a freekick which was hit by Fausto Ferrando. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Carolo Matteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Matteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Godoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Beruti FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. River Plate were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernan Heriberto was the one to do the kick off. Carolo Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Godoy having to interfere. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beruti FC's goalkeeper Esteve Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carolo Matteo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beruti FC's Esteve Godoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Beruti FC from getting a goal against them. Venancio Caetano's late challenge caught a Beruti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Caetano helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Caetano. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Montel in the 61st minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Marco Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Beruti FC's goalkeeper Esteve Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Willie Whitley. Orlando Abeitia hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Carolo Matteo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Esteve Godoy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 minutes of play, River Plate's Carolo Matteo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Esteve Godoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Venancio Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carolo Matteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Esteve Godoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Matteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Godoy having to interfere. Willie Whitley had several of the Beruti FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Esteve Godoy as he didn't even see the shot coming. 95 minutes into the match, Beruti FC's goalkeeper Esteve Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Matteo. River Plate played a much better game than Beruti FC and deserved their victory. The Beruti FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
