Ignacio Tavio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to San Rafael FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Amado Calvino hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, San Rafael FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Ekaitz came free, but Ignacio Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Genaro Ekaitz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ignacio Tavio. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of San Rafael FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Boca Lomas:s goal. Genaro Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 52 played minutes Boca Lomas got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Gonçalves. In the 57th minute, Boca Lomas's Justino Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ignacio Tavio. Ignacio Tavio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. The supporters of San Rafael FC booed when Boca Lomas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquim Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ignacio Tavio was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Genaro Ekaitz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Genaro Ekaitz really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cirilo Tulio got free with Ignacio Tavio in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Genaro Ekaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignacio Tavio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. San Rafael FC's Ignacio Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save San Rafael FC from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the match, San Rafael FC's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Garcia came free, but Ignacio Tavio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
