Mario Ramirez hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The wind increased when Camilo Bento made the kick off in the second half. During the 52nd minute of the match Camilo Bento completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Camilo Bento a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 63 minutes into the game, Ramiro Mendiko was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guido Colon made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Chatziioannou Veletzas sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th match minute, Monasters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juarês Cardoso to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Klemensas Gegeckas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guido Colon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klemensas Gegeckas in the 86th minute of play. Cirilo Oso got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ramiro Mendiko. Chatziioannou Veletzas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Colon having to interfere. AS Roma made a substitution. Mauro Anaya replaced Klemensas Gegeckas. AS Roma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
