Jairo Abilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arsenal F.C. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Guaberto Bartoli hit a great ball. Honorato Oliveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Gervasio Txomin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Marcos Baristo. Gervasio Txomin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 24th minute Jairo Abilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Oliveiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jairo Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Honorato Oliveiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jairo Abilio went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Arsenal F.C.'s Honorato Oliveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Abilio in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Arsenal F.C.'s Jairo Quilino got a free kick in the 34th minute. Federico Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Honorato Oliveiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Amadeo Eufrasio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcos Baristo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Federico Caetano to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Abilio in the 53rd minute of play forced Arsenal F.C.'s goalkeeper Honorato Oliveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 53 played minutes Arsenal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Peio. Sanavirones's Federico Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Caetano got free with Honorato Oliveiro in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Federico Caetano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Honorato Oliveiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 69 minutes, Sebastian Peio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal F.C. and the Sanavirones players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sebastian Peio hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Honorato Oliveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Sanavirones booed when Arsenal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guaberto Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Federico Caetano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Oliveiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Caetano went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Federico Caetano in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Honorato Oliveiro, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jairo Abilio took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Oliveiro. Honorato Oliveiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Federico Caetano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Jairo Abilio came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Sanavirones fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Abilio couldn't finish the play. The Arsenal F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sanavirones were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
