The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristo Ekialde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Serapio in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Isaias Serapio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Anta FC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Anta FC's Isaias Serapio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eusebio Nabar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Macomitas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Serapio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Isaias Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Cristo Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Isaias Serapio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Aquilino Gelacio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macomitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anta FC the free kick. Cristo Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Nabar in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Damario to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Serapio couldn't finish the play. In the 79th match minute, Macomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermengildo Lano to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Nabar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Serapio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cristo Ekialde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Serapio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Isaias Serapio sped through Macomitas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristo Ekialde. Isaias Serapio might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristo Ekialde. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaias Serapio ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Isaias Serapio in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristo Ekialde saved Macomitas from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Anta FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
