Bruno Lertxun was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Olimpo's goal looked a bit too open when Tito Henry came free, but Stoyko Pushnikov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Txema's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Lertxun was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. The supporters of Red Bull United booed when Olimpo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebio Maureo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Red Bull United defense, Emanuel Txema kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruno Lertxun. The Red Bull United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruno Lertxun should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Red Bull United's Bruno Lertxun got control of the ball when Eusebio Maureo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Olimpo booed when Red Bull United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Di Maio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruno Lertxun made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Emanuel Txema sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Red Bull United getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Modesto Paublo hit a great ball. Stoyko Pushnikov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Di Maio, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Saturnino Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Txema was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Agustin Dolcet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olimpo's Stoyko Pushnikov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Di Maio in the 59th minute of play. After 64 played minutes Red Bull United got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Abel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Txema in the 65th minute of play forced Red Bull United's goalkeeper Bruno Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Cipriano Guillelme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauricio Cloyo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emanuel Txema in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruno Lertxun saved Red Bull United from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Fulvio Di Maio could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Stoyko Pushnikov however easily saved by the left post. Red Bull United's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fulvio Di Maio in the 77th minute. A nice corner shot did that Emanuel Lauren got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Stoyko Pushnikov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Emanuel Lauren in the 77th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Stoyko Pushnikov kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After 88 minutes, Venancio Ordono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Olimpo and the Red Bull United players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Olimpo getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Venancio Ordono hit a great ball. Agustin Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cipriano Guillelme during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute of the game Celedonio Veronica made a throw-in which Venancio Ordono played forward. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
