Thanks to some nice moves Isaac Phelipe could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Rodrigo Filipo however easily saved by the left post. After 5 played minutes La FILOMENA F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Bonadona. 10 minutes into the game, Rumi AFC's Severino Berdaitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustavo Nabar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Rumi AFC's goalkeeper Rodrigo Filipo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaac Phelipe. A collision led to Rumi AFC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Cornelio Oidor hit a great ball. Damaso Francho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Filipo having to interfere. If Justo Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, La FILOMENA F. C.'s Damaso Francho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodrigo Filipo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Justo Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Rumi AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justo Lopes couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Nabar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severino Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justo Lopes scored 0-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Nabar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the game, one of Rumi AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Rodrigo Filipo, was totally fooled by La FILOMENA F. C.'s Alfredo Bonadona, who 46 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Cipriano Oxarra made the kick off in the second half. Cipriano Oxarra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Nabar having to make a save. Rumi AFC were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after La FILOMENA F. C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Rufio took the corner. Rumi AFC's Cipriano Oxarra got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Cornelio Oidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rumi AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Oidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Nabar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 70 in the game by Cipriano Oxarra from a close distance when the talented Gustavo Nabar managed to make a qualified save. La FILOMENA F. C.'s players were relieved. In the 75th minute, Damaso Francho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac Phelipe took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Filipo. Rodrigo Filipo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, Cipriano Oxarra notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of La FILOMENA F. C.'s Gustavo Nabar. Gustavo Nabar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute, Cipriano Oxarra fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 95 played minutes, Rumi AFC's Cornelio Oidor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustavo Nabar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rumi AFC reached it. The Rumi AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rumi AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
