In the 6th match minute, Andrade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Columbo to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, Deportivo Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Claude came free, but Froilan Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deportivo Austral's Ramiro Flor got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Austral's Amador Crescencio got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 22nd minute, Ramiro Flor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aquiles Eutropio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Froilan Jayvier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epifanio Oriche in the 31st minute of the match. The corner led Andrade's Everardo Mazuste to fire away a dangerous shot which Froilan Jayvier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Froilan Jayvier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Demario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Deportivo Austral was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerner Terlø to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Deportivo Austral's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Ugutz came free, but Froilan Jayvier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Epifanio Oriche was the one to do the kick off. If Americo Chap had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute, Amador Crescencio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Austral's Amador Crescencio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Ugutz kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Ramiro Flor struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aquiles Eutropio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Austral. Aquiles Eutropio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ramiro Flor's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Andrade's zone, Americo Chap stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aquiles Eutropio came out of the goal and Americo Chap tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Andrade's Eustaquio Demario got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute, Andrade's Eustaquio Demario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Froilan Jayvier. Froilan Jayvier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Epifanio Oriche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Froilan Jayvier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andrade's Aquiles Eutropio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramiro Flor in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Abelardo Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Jayvier was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Deportivo Austral's Froilan Jayvier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Austral from getting a goal against them. Amador Crescencio hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The Andrade players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
