Severiano Oliverio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 17th minute Romeo Karmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Karmel in the 18th minute of play. Delmiro Magdaleno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Saul Curcio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Prospero Sabin struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Severiano Oliverio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico Pinamar. After some careless play in the Marioni FC defense, Romeo Karmel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Oliverio. The Marioni FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Oliverio should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Magdaleno during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marioni FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Delmiro Magdaleno hit a great ball. In the 33rd match minute, Marioni FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johannes Andberg to maneuver through the defense. Severiano Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Karmel in the 35th minute of play. Pablo Abeijon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvald Norberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Severiano Oliverio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Marioni FC's goalkeeper Severiano Oliverio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romeo Karmel. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiburcio Dominguez got free with Severiano Oliverio in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeo Karmel succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-6 in the 55th playminute. Marioni FC's Severiano Oliverio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Marioni FC from getting a goal against them. Severiano Oliverio made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Romeo Karmel sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Abeijon in the 62nd minute of play forced Marioni FC's goalkeeper Severiano Oliverio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Hori might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Severiano Oliverio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Hori ran back to his position shaking his head. Lucas Florin charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Florin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Severiano Oliverio came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Pinamar's Romeo Karmel. But to his dismay, Romeo Karmel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 70th play minute Romeo Karmel came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Severiano Oliverio. 1-8. In the 74th minute Simon Kaiet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Oliverio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Oliverio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Abeijon in the 75th minute of the match. Saul Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvald Norberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute.
