Gabriel Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Arnaldo Cilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CSyD Lampalagua's Benjamin Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Cilio in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roberto Roland got free with Benjamin Abaurre in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gabriel Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Benjamin Abaurre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Mendiko in the 37th minute of the match. When Denis Etxeberri fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSyD Lampalagua's protests and gave Denis Etxeberri a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes CSyD Lampalagua got a freekick which was hit by Denis Etxeberri. Gabriel Baptista's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Boca Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gabriel Baptista helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denis Etxeberri to make the kick off. CSyD Lampalagua's Joel Mon managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Isaac Che in the 54 minute of the game. In the 56th minute, Samuel Pancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CSyD Lampalagua's Gabriel Baptista got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 64 minutes into the game, when Bruce Hanslow put in a rough tackle. Benjamin Abaurre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Mendiko in the 74th minute of play forced CSyD Lampalagua's goalkeeper Benjamin Abaurre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Che Guevara's late challenge caught a Club Atletico Boca Junior's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Che Guevara helped the player get up and apologised. Benjamin Abaurre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leandro Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. If Marcial Elequemedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Egoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Mon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Cilio in the 94th minute of play. Roberto Roland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Abaurre read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. In the 99th minute Leandro Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Abaurre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Boca Junior had won after a very even match.
